Cloudbox is a next-generation, cloud-based file management platform that transforms how users organize, understand, and act on their digital content. Inspired by tools like Google Drive and Dropbox, Cloudbox goes beyond basic storage by integrating intelligent AI insights that automatically analyze documents, audio, video, and images, then surface what matters most.

Unlike traditional file managers, where users must remember, rename, or manually tag files, Cloudbox uses AI to understand content contextually and deliver actionable summaries, classifications, sentiment, keywords, intent, and issue detection — all in real time.

But smart AI isn’t enough. If users don’t trust it, they won’t use it.

That’s why this design focuses on making AI transparent, controllable, and human-centered — not magical or mysterious.

The AI Processing Flow: “What’s Happening Right Now?”

Problem Number 1

After the file upload, they weren’t analyzed instantly. Some took seconds. Others, large audio files, took minutes. And if users uploaded 20 at once, chaos ensued.

No feedback meant no control. Users assumed the system was broken. Or worse,they left and came back later, losing momentum.

The solution

I designed a per-file + bulk upload tracking system that shows exactly where every file is in its journey:

Users can see:

• Files that are currently being analyzed or summarized.
• Files that are still in the process of uploading.
• Files waiting in line to be processed, helping manage expectations during busy times.
• Files where generating insights failed, along with a clear option to retry.
